Meanwhile, IDF troops clash with and violently disperse stonethrowers in c. Hebron who attended a funeral for the Palestinian killed in al-‘Arub r.c. on 2/10; there are no serious injuries. They also raid a village nr. Jerusalem, arresting a number of Palestinians and sparking clashes with stonethrowers wherein 3 Palestinians are injured; conduct further raids and house searches in Aida r.c. nr. Bethlehem and 1 village nr. Ramallah, issuing 2 Palestinians arrest summons; patrol in 5 villages nr. Hebron and 1 nr. Jenin. Israeli forces declare a village nr. Ramallah a closed military zone, then they confiscate construction materials and demolish a garage, an agricultural shed, and a water well in the village. They also demolish a number of residential structures in a village nr. Tubas and 42 residential and other structures in and around al-Farisiya village in the n. Jordan Valley. Along Gaza’s s. border, Egyptian forces demolish a smuggling tunnel leading to the n. Sinai, and IDF troops arrest 4 Palestinians attempting to cross into Israel nr. al-Bureij r.c.
