U.S. Federal Election Commission figures for the 1st half of 1995 (the latest figures) show that 53 percent of the nearly $400,000 in contributions fr. pro-Israeli political action comms. to Congressmen, presidential candidates for the 1996 campaign went to republicans, compared to 27 percent during the same period prior to the 1994 congressional race.
