In the West Bank, IDF troops violently disperse Palestinian, Israeli, and international protesters at Friday demonstrations against the Israeli occupation and recent restrictions at Haram al-Sharif in 6 areas nr. Ramallah (Bil‘in, Ni‘lin, Nabi Salih, Silwad, Jalazun r.c., and outside Ofer Prison), and Kafr Qaddum nr. Qalqilya; 10 Palestinians, including 2 journalists, and 2 Israeli soldiers are injured. IDF troops raid the Qalandia r.c. on the grounds that shots were fired at a nearby IDF watchtower, sparking clashes with stonethrowing Palestinian youths; 1 Palestinian is injured and 4 are detained. They also conduct raids nr. Tulkarm and 1 nr. Jenin, arresting 1 Palestinian and sparking minor clashes; patrol in villages nr. Ramallah and Jenin.
