Off Gaza’s n. coast, Israeli naval forces open fire on Palestinian fishing boats, causing no injuries or damage. Later, Israeli forces stationed along the border fence open fire on agricultural areas nr. Bayt Lahiya, causing no damage. In the West Bank, IDF troops conduct house searches and raids in ‘Aqabat Jabir r.c. and nr. Hebron and Qalqilya, arresting 4 Palestinians; patrol nr. Nablus and Hebron. They also search a home in Jenin r.c., arresting 1 Palestinian and sparking clashes with Palestinian youths; 1 Palestinian is injured with live ammunition. Israeli forces violently disperse Palestinians gathering in a village nr. Qalqilya to protest the occupation; there are no serious injuries. (HA 9/13; JP 9/15; PCHR 9/17)
