Egyptian officials announce that the width of the buffer zone being constructed on the border with the Gaza Strip is to be doubled to 1,000 m, and as many as 2,000 in some places along the 13 km border. Late at night, a Palestinian bus driver is found hanged in his bus in West Jerusalem.
