In East Jerusalem, a Palestinian family of 5 was forced to demolish their own home in Jabal Mukabir. In Gaza, Israel conducted air strikes on targets in Gaza and reported that 1 rocket was launched from Gaza toward Israel; no injuries were reported. The Israeli govt. informs the High Court of Justice that it has decided to return 7 corpses of Palestinians killed in violent attacks against Israelis in recent mos., but only if the families agree to certain conditions. Before the UNSC vote reaffirming the illegality of Jewish settlements, U.S. Secy. of State Hillary Clinton phones Abbas to warn him that that U.S. aid could be cut if the vote goes ahead.
