In the West Bank, Israeli forces delivered stop-work notices for 18 structures in Qarawat Bani Hassan. Israeli forces also demolished 1 house under construction in Furush Beit Dajan, 1 agricultural structure in al-Jib, and 4 houses in Jiftlik. 21 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Bethlehem, Beit Fajjar, Dheisheh refugee camp, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Tammun, Kafr Ni‘ma, Jenin, Qalqilya, Hebron, and Beit Umar. PA prime minister Mohammed Shtayyeh warned UK prime minister Liz Truss that if the UK moves its embassy to Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, it would be seen by the PA as a recognition of the Israeli annexation of Jerusalem. The EU-Israel association council convened for the 1st time since 2012. Addressing the EU representatives, Israeli prime minister Yair Lapid said that “Palestinians need to put an end to terrorism and incitement” in order for a 2-state solution to happen. After the meeting, EU ministers published a paper hailing cooperation with Israel, condemning Hamas, and criticizing Israel for its settlement policies, mentioning settlements in East Jerusalem and plans for E1.
