IDF commandos raid Saida, killing 1 Islamic Jihad mbr., arresting 4 others, razing Palestinian agricultural land, bulldozing 1 Palestinian home; during the demolition, a wall of the home collapses on a senior IDF undercover officer, killing him. Nr. Ramallah, AMB mbrs. fire on an IDF post, killing 1 soldier. In Ramallah, 100s of DFLP, PFLP supporters rally outside Arafat's Ramallah compound, calling for the release of a Palestinians held by the PA without charge.
