In the West Bank, IDF troops conduct late-night raids and house searches in Jenin, and Hebron and 1 village nearby, arresting 4 Palestinians and issuing 1 arrest summons. Israeli forces demolish an agricultural room in a village nr. Qalqilya, 4 stores on a road outside Jenin, and 2 tents and a barn in a village nr. Hebron; confiscate raw materials being used to build a road nr. Nablus. Late at night, Israeli settlers throw molotov cocktails at a park in a village nr. Nablus, causing no damage or injuries. A small group of Palestinians reportedly chases the settlers away from the park before they can do any serious damage. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces deny a group of Palestinian youths entrance to Haram al-Sharif, sparking minor clashes; 1 Palestinian guard is detained. After around 32 Palestinian prisoners join the mass open-ended hunger strike in Israel’s Nafha and Ramon Prisons, bringing the number of total participants to 180, the prisoners decide to end their strike, which began on 8/5. The Israel Prison Service (IPS) says no deal was made, but Palestinian Prisoners Society chair Qadura Fares says that IPS agreed to several concessions on terms of cell searches and other issues.
