Some 1,000 PA security forces begin to set up roadblocks, conduct patrols, halt and search Palestinian vehicles along the n. Gaza border; another 2,000 security forces plan to spread out across the entire Gaza border with Israel in the coming days. The IDF shoots, wounds a Palestinian who strays too close to the separation wall w. of Jenin. Palestinians throw 3 explosive devices at an IDF patrol in Nablus, causing no damage or injuries.
