The PA unity govt. delegation that traveled to Gaza on 12/29 meets with local officials in Gaza City and works out an agreement on the civil servant employment crisis. Spokesperson Ihab Bseiso says that the PA will guarantee the positions of all 70,000 employees who were laid off when the Hamas-run govt. came to power in 2007 and offer remaining positions to employees of the Hamas-run govt., effectively firing all 50,000 employees hired by Hamas.
