In the West Bank, IDF troops mistakenly enter Tulkarm and are escorted out by PASF. Some Palestinian youths throw stones at them as they are leaving, causing 1 minor injury. Meanwhile, unidentified assailants open fire on an IDF position nr. Ramallah. The IDF returns fire, but the assailants escape; there are no serious injuries. IDF troops arrest 13 Palestinians during late-night raids and house searches nr. Hebron, Salfit, Nablus, Hebron, and Ramallah; and patrol during the day nr. Salfit and Hebron. Israeli forces deliver stop-work orders to 6 Palestinian homes under construction s. of Bethlehem. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces arrest 4 Palestinians during late-night raids in Issawiyya. PA foreign minister (FM) Riyad al-Maliki states that Palestinians continue to work on a draft UN Security Council (UNSC) res. condemning Israeli settlements that they intend to submit within days.
