In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces forcefully expelled the Sub Laban family from their home in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City, allowing Israeli settlers to move into their home; 12 activists protesting the eviction were arrested. Palestinian journalist Lama Ghosheh from East Jerusalem was released from 10 months of house arrest by Israel but received a 3-year suspended sentence and was ordered to undertake 9 months of community service and to pay a fine of $1,200 for charges of incitement in her writing.
