In the West Bank, Israeli settlers also assaulted Palestinian shepherds and tried to steal their sheep near al-Juwaya in the Masafer Yatta area. 13 Palestinians were arrested during late-night raids in Dura, Battir, Qalqilya, and Fasayil. PA forces arrested 18 Palestinians accused of resisting PA forces’ violent dispersal of a funeral procession on 3/8. In East Jerusalem, Israeli settlers assaulted 1 Palestinian at the Damascus Gate plaza. 2 Palestinians were arrested in the Old City. In Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire at Palestinians east of Khan Yunis; no injuries were reported. In Israel, about half a million Israelis protested against the Israeli government in several cities, with the largest crowds in Tel Aviv and about 50,000 in Haifa. It was the tenth Saturday in a row that Israelis have voiced their opposition to the judicial overhaul being carried out by the government.
