Israel’s Civil Administration approves the seizure of 12,700 dunams (3,138 acres) of land east of Aqrabah, marking the largest land seizure since the Oslo Accords and bringing the total amount of land seized by Israel in 2024 to 23,700 dunams (5,867 acres). The Israeli Higher Planning Council advances 5,295 new settlement housing units and legalizes 3 settlement outposts, including Mahane Gadi, Givat Hanan, and Kedem Araba. 2,215 of the housing units are advanced to the validation stage, while 3,080 are advanced to the depositing stage.
