In the West Bank, Israeli settlers assault Palestinian shepherds and an Israeli solidarity activist near ‘Ain al-Hilweh, damaging a vehicle. Israeli settlers also raze Palestinian farmland near Qusra and in the Masafer Yatta area. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers set fire to farmland near Husan. Israeli settlers also throw stones at Palestinian vehicles traveling near Huwwara, causing damage to 2 cars. Meanwhile, Israeli settlers raid Arab al-Milehat, threatening Palestinian residents. Israeli forces shoot and injure 7 Palestinians, including a child, during a raid in al-Bireh. Israeli forces also arrest 8 Palestinians during raids in Sinjil, al-Bireh, Qalandia refugee camp, Bayt Awa, Yatta, and Qalqilya. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces assault Palestinians trying to enter the Haram al-Sharif compound for Friday prayers. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Gaza City, Rafah, Dayr al-Balah, Nuseirat refugee camp, and al-Bureij refugee camp, killing at least 34 people. Off the coast of Gaza, Israeli forces kill 2 Palestinian fishermen northwest of Khan Yunis; UNICEF spokesperson James Elder says he witnessed the killings in which the 2 people were shot in the back and says Israel denied the UN crew’s request for access to provide medical attention. A Palestinian child dies of starvation at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Dayr al-Balah. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Ayta ash Shab, Odaisseh, and Kfar Kila. More than 37,266 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 15,694 children and 10,000 women, and around 85,102 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble, including 1,700 children. 540 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 128 children. More than 5,200 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 299 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 1,940 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. At least 79,000 housing units have been destroyed and 370,000 have been damaged in Israeli airstrikes since 10/7/2023. 52 trucks carrying aid enter Gaza. Hamas says that 2 Israeli captives were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Rafah earlier this week. Political bureau member Osama Hamdan tells CNN that Hamas does not know how many of the captives are still alive. (AJ, HA, NYT, REU 6/14)
