In the West Bank, Israeli settlers set fire to Palestinian-owned fields near Burin. Israeli forces prevented Palestinians from entering Bardala for a planned protest against annexation of parts of the West Bank. 1 Palestinian was beaten and arrested at a checkpoint in Qalandia. PA prime minister Mohammad Shtayyeh ordered a full ban of all forms of public gatherings due to a rise in COVID-19 virus cases throughout the West Bank. The governor of Bethlehem declared a 2-day lockdown of Bethlehem city and surrounding areas starting 6/29. (WAFA, WAFA 6/27)
