In the West Bank, Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian minor approaching the separation wall near Faqqua. Israeli forces also shot and injured 3 Palestinians during a raid in Ni’lin, and injured others with tear gas. Meanwhile, Israeli forces shot and injured 1 Palestinian during a raid in Nabi Salih. Israeli forces also demolished 2 residential structures in az-Za’ayyyem, displacing 11. In East Jerusalem, Israeli forces assaulted 1 Palestinian in the Old City. Israeli forces also assaulted several Palestinians in Jabel Mukaber. 1 Palestinian was arrested in Sur Baher. In Gaza, 1 rocket was launched at Israel, landing in an open area; no damage was reported. Israeli forces also opened fire at Palestinian farmers east of al-Qarara, Dayr al-Balah, and Jabaliya. In Tel Aviv, hundreds of thousands of Israelis protested against the Israeli government for the eleventh Saturday in a row. VICE released their own investigation into the death of Walid al-Sharif, who was shot on 4/22/2022 at the Haram al-Sharif compound, concluding that he died of a baton round to the head fired by Israeli forces. Israeli authorities had maintained that the 23-year-old had died because he fell while running from Israeli forces. Sharif fell into a coma after being hit by the baton round and died on 5/14/2022.
