In the West Bank, armed Israeli settlers with a military escort broke in to 2 Palestinian homes in Tuba and El-Abid, intimidating the homeowners and searching their belongings. Israeli forces shot and killed 3 Palestinians, claiming that 1 of them had opened fire at Israeli soldiers near Nablus; Israeli forces prevented a Palestinian ambulance from reaching the scene. The PA called the killings a war crime. Israeli forces also violently dispersed Palestinian protesters in Deir Istiya, assaulting journalists and causing tear-gas related injuries. Elsewhere, Israeli forces seized 1 tractor and 1 other vehicle in Bardala. Israeli forces also demolished agricultural structures and uprooted olive trees in az-Za’ayyem. In East Jerusalem, Israeli settlers toured the Haram al-Sharif compound. 1 Palestinian family was forced to demolish their own home in Bayt Hanina. The Knesset voted to expand the Admissions Committees Law, effectively allowing communities in Israel with up to 700 households to reject non-Jewish people from moving in.
