National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir says Jewish people worshipped at the compound, which he says is allowed under his new policy. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. The World Food Programme warns that more than 1 million people in Gaza could experience the highest level of starvation by the middle of July. The Israeli government tells the Supreme Court that it will immediately limit activity in the Sde Teiman detention camp, turning it into a short-term holding facility for 200 detained Palestinians. Many of the other Palestinians held at the facility will be transferred to other facilities. The government also says that the army will improve the conditions at the detention camp. Reports from the detention camp have detailed horrific conditions for Palestinians, including torture. The Israeli military calls up another 50,000 reservist soldiers.
