In the West Bank, Israeli settlers assault Palestinians harvesting olives in Yasuf. Israeli forces bomb Nur Shams refugee camp, killing at least 2 people before stealing their bodies. Israeli forces also raid al-Khader and Khalayel al-Loz, causing tear-gas related injuries. Elsewhere, Israeli forces prevent Palestinians from harvesting olives in Kafr Qaddum. Israeli forces also demolish a home and 2 agricultural irrigation ponds in al-Arroub refugee camp, Furush Bayt Dajan, and al-Jalama, and 2 homes under construction in al-Zawiya. Meanwhile, Israeli forces raze agricultural land in Beit Umar. Israeli forces also raid al-Far’a refugee camp and Nur Shams refugee camp, causing widespread destruction. Separately, Israeli forces arrest 22 Palestinians during raids in and around Ramallah, Hebron, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem. In Gaza, Israeli forces bomb Jabalia refugee camp, Dayr al-Balah, Khan Yunis, Gaza City, Rafah, Nuseirat refugee camp, and al-Bureij refugee camp, killing at least 63 people, including at least 28 people sheltering at the Rafida school in Dayr al-Balah. 3 Israeli soldiers are killed in northern Gaza. In Lebanon, Israeli forces attempt to assassinate Hezbollah chief of the liaison and coordination unit Wafiq Safa, a political figure, in an airstrike on Beirut which kills 22 people and injures 117 others. Israeli forces also bomb the Ras el-Nabaa and Haret Hreik neighborhoods of Beirut, Karak, and Baalbek, as well as other cities and towns. Elsewhere, Israeli forces open fire at a UNIFIL position near Naqoura, injuring 2 Indonesian UNIFIL soldiers. Hezbollah forces fire rockets at Margaliot and Kiryat Shmona, causing damage. In Syria, Israeli forces bomb an Iranian Red Crescent field hospital near the Lebanese border. In Yemen, Houthi forces say they attacked 2 ships, including a U.S. oil tanker. More than 42,065 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,000 children and 11,487 women, and around 97,886 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 739 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 154 children. More than 6,315 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 351 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,298 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory says it has found that Israel is conducting a concerted policy of destroying the Gaza healthcare sector, amounting to both war crimes and the crime against humanity of extermination. Israel Hayom and the Israeli Army Radio report that the Israeli government is planning to seize UNRWA’s headquarters in East Jerusalem and allocate the space for an Israeli settlement of 1,440 housing units. UNIFIL says it will not leave its positions in southern Lebanon despite direct Israeli attacks. Indonesia “strongly condemns” the Israeli attack that injured 2 of its peacekeepers. Canada calls the Israeli attacks “alarming and unacceptable.” France condemns the attack, saying it is awaiting an explanation from Israel. Italy expresses concern over the attack, saying it may constitute a war crime and that the “shots were not fired by mistake.” The Italian Defense Ministry also summons the Israeli ambassador for an explanation. The EU and Spain also condemn the attack. At the UN Security Council, Iranian ambassador to the UN Amir Saeid Iravani says Iran “stands fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity against any aggression targeting its vital interests and security.” France and the U.S. call for the strengthening of the Lebanese army so it can be effectively deployed in southern Lebanon. Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi says that Iran is not seeking war after a meeting with Qatari prime minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha, adding “Netanyahu is the only one who wants war to destroy the region and stay in power.” Reuters reports that Gulf states have asked the U.S. to prevent Israel from attacking Iranian oil sites. Reuters also reports that Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar will not allow Israel to use their airspace to attack Iran. The Israeli Security Cabinet convenes to discuss plans to attack Iran.
