In the West Bank, Israeli settlers attack Palestinians harvesting olives in Jalud, Khirbet Salama, and Shufa. Israeli settlers also set up a new outpost near al-‘Awja. Elsewhere, Israeli settlers raid al-Mughayyir, before being repelled by Palestinians. Israeli forces shoot and injure 2 Palestinian children during a raid in Beit Furik. Israeli forces also assault 2 Palestinian children during a raid in Sinjil. Elsewhere, Israeli forces assault 4 Palestinians during a raid in Burqa. Israeli forces also demolish part of a building in al-Walaja. Meanwhile, Israeli forces seize a truck during a raid in Ein al-Beida. In Gaza, Israel forces bomb Gaza City, Jabalia refugee camp, and al-Bureij refugee camp, killing at least 24 people. In the Naqab, Israeli forces demolish the last structure, a mosque, in Umm al-Hiran. In Lebanon, Israeli forces bomb Beirut, Baalbek, al-Bazaliyah, Rasm al-Hadath, Qanarit, Zeita, Anqoun, Bnafoul, Arabsalim, and Nabatieh, killing at least 59 people, including 15 in a Civil Defense building in Baalbek. Hezbollah forces fire rockets at the Tel Haim base south of Tel Aviv, Eliakim, Yesud HaMaala, Manara, Sasa, and Dishon, injuring 2 soldiers in Eliakim. An Israeli soldier is killed in southern Lebanon. In Syria, Israeli forces bomb Damascus, killing at least 15 people. Israel reportedly targeted Islamic Jihad. More than 43,736 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, including at least 17,385 children and 11,487 women, and around 103,370 have been injured since 10/7/2023. At least 10,000 people are missing in rubble. 785 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since 10/7/2023, including 168 children. More than 6,500 people have been injured. Israel reports that 1,139 Israelis and foreign nationals have been killed and 5,400 have been injured in Israel since 10/7/2023, including Israeli soldiers. In addition, 373 Israeli soldiers have been killed and 2,425 injured in Gaza since the ground invasion began on 10/27/2023. Over 1.93 million Palestinians, nearly 85% of the population of Gaza, have been displaced since 10/7/2023. There has been a complete electricity blackout in Gaza since 10/12/2023 due to the Israeli blockade. 87% of all housing units in Gaza have been destroyed or severely damaged since 10/7/2023. 44-year-old Palestinian prisoner Anwar Esleem from Gaza dies at the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba after being transferred there from the Naqab Prison. The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs say another prisoner Sameeh Eleiwi, 61, died on 11/6 after being transferred from the Ramle prison clinic to the Shamir Medical Center. Sky News reports, based on testimonies given to HaMoked, that Dr Adnan al-Bursh may have been raped to death at the Ofer Prison in the middle of April. The UN Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices Affecting the Human Rights of the Palestinian People and Other Arabs of the Occupied Territories says in a report covering October 2023 to July 2024 that Israeli warfare practices in Gaza “are consistent with the characteristics of genocide.” The report says Israel is using starvation as a method of war, inflicting collective punishment on the Palestinian people, ignored binding orders and resolutions from the ICJ and UN Security Council, and uses AI-assisted targeting with little human oversight in disregard of its obligation to distinguish between civilians and combatants.  U.S. State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel says “this is something we would unequivocally disagree with. U.S. house representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) calls on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to resign after Blinken’s deadline to Israel to increase aid in Gaza passed without consequences for Israel. Tlaib says Blinken has lied to Congress and should therefore resign. A letter signed by 88 Democrats in Congress calls on President Joe Biden to sanction Israeli finance minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Ben-Gvir before he leaves office in January 2025.
