Jenin; conducts morning arrest raids, house searches nr. Qalqilya. The independent Palestinian Center for Human Rights accuses the Hamas authorities in Gaza of harassing Fatah mbrs., saying Hamas police have summoned about 50 former mbrs. of the Fatah security forces in since 12/26, questioning them at length, detaining some, and searching some homes.
