In East Jerusalem, Israeli police violently disperse Palestinian women conducting a sit-in protesting the ban on their entry to Haram al-Sharif; 1 Palestinian is arrested and there are no serious injuries. Late at night, police arrest 10 Palestinians during raids in Qalandia r.c., Jabal Mukabir, and Sur al-Bahir. In the West Bank, IDF troops raid a village nr. Bethlehem overnight, issuing 3 Palestinians arrest summons and sparking clashes with stone-throwing residents; 1 Palestinian is injured. They conduct further raids and house searches in and around Hebron, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Jenin, arresting 7 Palestinians (including a prominent soccer player), and issue arrest summons to 2; patrol during the day in Qalqilya and 5 villages nr.
