After several legal delays (see QU in JPS 165), Israeli security forces evict Jewish settlers from Migron, an unauthorized settlement outpost nr. Ramallah. Around 50 families are moved out and relocated a short distance away in new housing built by the government for the purpose. Meanwhile, Jewish settlers accompanied by police move into a section of a Palestinian home in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, after a court ruling in favor of the settlers’ ownership claims.
