In response to a request fr. Barak for White House assistance with his domestic political problems, Pres. Clinton agrees to be interviewed on Israeli TV. He praises Barak's courage during the talks, promises the U.S. will reward Israel with closer bilateral strategic relations for concluding an agmt. with the PA, voluntarily raises the prospect of moving the U.S. emb. fr. Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
