At the Saban Forum at the Brookings Institute in Washington, Israeli defense minister (DM) Avigdor Lieberman says that the Knesset should postpone work on the so-called regulations bill, which would retroactively authorize all of Israel’s illegal settlement outposts in the West Bank, including Amona, until U.S. pres.-elect Donald Trump takes office. “The key to the future of the settlements is reaching understandings with the U.S. on this issue,” he says.
